Meet Our CEO/Founder

Kim’s Play and Learn Academy's owner, Ms. Kim, is a very proud mother of three children and considers herself to be a ‘glam mom.” She has been in early childhood education for 25+ years, with majority of the time being a licensed home childcare provider through the military. As a former military licensed Family Child Care home provider and current educator, she provides professional care in all areas.

Kim Labeach, Educator

As a well-rounded educator, Kim had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students including those with learning and/or speech disabilities, non-compliant behavior as well as children who function below and above grade level averages. Consequently, she has gained in depth knowledge of accommodating different styles of learning and ways to differentiate effective methods to meet students’ unique needs. She loves early childhood and hands-on learning, along with the engaging, fun, and developmental experiences that your child will share with her.

When she founded Kim’s Play and Learn Academy in 2003, she was a young mother with a dream that stemmed from her background in education and childcare. Her dream evolved to focus on goals that support busy families and offer an educationally sound program that is fun for children so that they can learn through play while encouraging parent involvement.
