What ages of children do you accept?We are licensed for children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years of age.

What are your hours of operation?We are open Monday thru Friday from 07:30 am to 5:00 pm. (A.M & P.M. extended service available upon request)

Do you provide part-day, date night or drop-in care?We offer full-day, date night enrollment, or drop-in enrollments.

Do you provide meals and snacks?YES! We provide organic, natural meals: including breakfast, a mid-morning snack, a catered lunch, and an afternoon snack.

What security measures do you have in place?Only staff members and parents are permitted beyond the KPLA entrance and into the center using QR code or their own unique pin number. Cameras are located in our classrooms, facing the playground, and at the front door.

What are your COVID-19 precautions?We have implemented all CDC recommendations for childcare centers / licensed home as well as the Guidance for Texas Child Care Facilities established by the Texas Department of Children and Families and the Texas Department of Health

How do I register my child?A scheduled visit is the most essential part of being considered for selection. Upon completion of a site visit, families can be provided with an enrollment packet after submission of the required registration fee.

When should I call to register my child?It's never too early to call. So, call as soon as you even think about registering because our academy fills up fast!

Does my child have to be potty trained?Kim's Play and Learn Academy will enroll students on an intentional basis if parents agree that potty-training is in progress. With a monthly potty fee, pull-ups and wipes are included.

Is there a dress code?Yes, Kim's Play and Learn Academy students are required to wear uniforms. Apparel can be found here.
